Philosophy

After mastering the basics of cutting, styling, and color, I realized my journey as a stylist had only just begun.

From principles and methodology of hair design to theory, technique, and geometry, there was so much more to learn. Soon after I was recruited by Scott Metzger, the former art director of Vidal Sassoon. Working side by side with Scott, I was trained in the most progressive art forms and advancements in hair architecture and design.

To be the best, I had to learn from the best, and that desire led me to Sassoon Academy – a global leader in the hair industry. This proven system of hair design is a process based solely on the cut, allowing for wash and wear hair with a priceless look. The first step is building the haircut as a structure using architectural hair design. The style is then decorated after each subsequent cut based on form and function.

I am a firm believer in these methods. They have stood the test of time, offering high style with low maintenance.

Bone structure, facial features, skin tone, head shape, eye color, hair color, and hair texture all play an important role in the consultation.

My attention to every detail ensures a successful outcome. Working with hair in its natural state and applying precision cutting techniques with consideration of suitability for the individual is truly an exciting process. I believe perfect beauty is different for every woman. Every style I create is uniquely personalized to enhance and compliment your natural beauty.

Gentlemen

For the gentlemen, advanced barbering techniques are implemented to design a modern, traditional, or contemporary look crafted to suit your own personal image. These techniques will include the use of shears, clippers, a texturizing razor, and a straight razor. My finished product always includes a straight razor-shaved neckline to complete your hair styling experience.
